There’s something incredibly satisfying about creating a print by hand.

In Create: Lino Print, you’ll discover the traditional process of lino printing in a relaxed, welcoming environment. From your first sketch through to the final print, you’ll learn how to transform a simple design into a beautiful hand-printed artwork.

This autumn edition is inspired by the changing season, using leaves, plants and natural forms as the starting point for your design.

Whether you’ve never tried lino printing before or you’re looking to rediscover a creative hobby, this workshop is designed to be enjoyable, accessible and rewarding.

More Than a Workshop

Lino printing encourages you to slow down.

Every cut is intentional.

Every print is slightly different.

It’s a creative process that rewards patience and experimentation, and one you’ll be able to continue at home long after the workshop has finished.

During the Session

You’ll learn how to:

  • Develop a simple print design
  • Transfer your artwork onto lino
  • Use lino carving tools safely
  • Roll and apply ink evenly
  • Print by hand using traditional techniques
  • Create a series of your own prints

You’ll leave with your carved lino block and a selection of finished prints to take home.
