Art Studio and Independent Art Store
Inside our art studio, you'll find a carefully selected range of artist-quality materials, including:
- Montana Gold spray paint
- Lino cutting tools and softcut
- Screen printing essentials
- Sketchbooks, tie-dye kits, inks, and markers
Our art store stocks supplies we use ourselves — no filler, just proven materials that work for real artists. Visit in person or get in touch to ask about availability.
Rent a Creative Space by the Hour
Looking for somewhere to make art without distractions? Our creative space includes a flexible Rent-a-Table service. Perfect if you need:
- A new environment to spark ideas
- Workspace for freelance or portfolio projects
- A spot to collaborate or host a session
You can book by the hour, half day, or full day. Tables are limited, so booking ahead is recommended.
Workshops and Community Events
We also run regular art workshops throughout the year — from spray paint stencil sessions to lino printing and more. It’s a chance to try something new, meet fellow creatives, and explore different art styles in a relaxed and friendly environment.

How to Find The Studio @ThirteenEight
The Studio @ThirteenEight is easy to reach whether you're walking, driving, or using public transport.
If you're coming from Portsmouth, it's just a short ferry ride across the harbour. From the Gosport ferry terminal, the studio is a pleasant 0.8-mile walk along the high street and Stoke Road.
Stoke Road is also a major bus route with regular services from Gosport Ferry and Fareham, making it easy to reach us by public transport.
If you're driving, there’s free one-hour parking directly on Stoke Road, or a nearby three-hour public car park just behind the studio in Jamaica Place. There are also several side roads in the area with longer parking options.
We’re located right in the heart of Gosport - easy to get to, and hard to leave without feeling inspired!
Studio Opening Times
The Studio @ThirteenEight is open midweek and weekends for browsing art supplies, booking creative space, and exploring the shop. Please note, our workshops may run outside of these regular hours, so always check our workshops page for event-specific times.
